Slow Food Columbia is one of 200+ Slow Food USA chapters, located in Columbia, South Carolina. Our mission is to support the movement behind GOOD, CLEAN and FAIR foodways in the Midlands and beyond. Our convivium hosts workshops, potlucks and other events throughout the year to celebrate local + seasonal flavors; to showcase the culinary talents of our region's chefs, farmers, + artisan producers; to strengthen connections between members of our local food community; and to educate the public about the importance of knowing where your food comes from.

All-Local Farmers' Market Has a Permanent Home!

We're so excited about the news that the All-Local Farmers' Market will have a new home at 701 Whaley starting next month. The inaugural market will be on July 4th and then every Saturday thereafter.

Come on by and visit the Slow Food Columbia table and show your support through membership or commitment to a volunteer effort for an upcoming event.

Every Saturday starting July 4th at 701 Whaley.

Come out and join us for Columbia's All-Local Farmers' Market featuring all-natural or organic produce, beef, eggs, chicken, lamb, pork, grains, honey, flowers, and milk from South Carolina farmers. The market also boasts vendors with baked goods, award-winning hot sauces, goat milk soaps and lotions, handmade items, and more.

Come enjoy some music and friends and pick up fresh products for your July 4th celebration!
